Chefs to the Field 2009

Chefs to the Field is organized by Terra Nova Schoolyard Society, the society aims to provide the kids a chance to involve in gardens and healthy food to forms a healthier communities. Restaurants and chefs from all over the Lower Mainland will participate by donating their time and talent to provide tasty treats for sale to all who attend. Attendance at this event grows each year – in 2008, over 1,500 people joined us onsite! This year, we are expanding this family friendly event. Careful planning of the space at the Terra Nova Gardens will enable us to increase the number of restaurant booths to 32 AND include a designated competition area. Having this dedicated space will allow us to hold both a professional & an amateur Green Cuisine competition.
