The annual celebration event, Pink Salmon Festival is organized by a non-profit charity, Pacific Salmon Foundation (PSF). PSF was found in 1980 and the Community Salmon Programs was soon implemented through part proceeds of the newly created DFO Salmon Conservation Stamp. PSL continues to raise funds and direct funding to grassroots, volunteer and community-driven projects focused on the conservation and recovery of Pacific salmon. Once again, Origin Organic Farms Inc. will be taking this opportunity to support the PSF by sponsoring our organic cucumbers and tomatoes to event. Quang Dang from C Restaurant and other chefs from Nu Restaurant and Raincity Grill will be preparing specialty samplers of Pink salmon with our organic produces on that day. There will be a Pink salmon barbeque, sea life exhibitions, stream of dreams fish painting, fly tying and fly casting demonstrations, live music by Highrise Lonsome, children's activities such as face painting, clowns, magicians, and much more! So come on out on Aug 30th, and celebrate the day!
